Can you hear the lion in you roaring yet? With a Leo Moon we all seek a little recognition and when it’s full like it is this week, it’s especially emphasized. In fact, in my opinion, a Leo moon seeks attention even more than a Leo Sun. Drama is the name of the game, and in its highest form creative expression from the heart comes forth.
During this full moon, Pluto is still very close to the Sun (the exact conjunct was last weekend) How do we purge old ways of relating in larger groups while still honoring ourselves in the process? There is an intensity to this full moon that will call this into question.
Both Aquarius and Leo want to stand out as being unique, but is standing out just for the sense of standing out very useful unless it’s in the context of something larger and more meaningful and impactful?
With mercury squaring the nodes there is an opportunity to consider how we are grounding our uniqueness within the context of something bigger. With all the planets in Capricorn –mercury, mars and Venus, it’s not time to be frivolous. Instead, it’s time to get serious about our purpose and how we want to make a positive mark on society. All this earth energy, including 2 planets in Taurus (Jupiter and Uranus) are asking us to be a bit more deliberate in approach.
The temptation is to get too caught up in ego, but when checked, we can use this full moon energy to shine and lead the way for others in very authentic, yet mature ways. Can we reconcile our need to be recognized apart from others with doing something for the greater good beyond ourselves?
Part of this full moon ultimately shows up as shedding lots of old skin to come into a new way of operating as an individual in the collective. Have you been taking responsibility for how your actions affect others? We don’t live in a vacuum and can have immense impact on our world when we realize the power of our interconnectedness.
Happy Full Moon
New Moon in Gemini: Embrace Change with Curiosity
Thursday, June 6th, 8:35 am ET
Gemini, known for its adaptability and versatility, now hosts five planets: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. This abundance of Gemini energy signals a time of movement and change, especially as it coincides with the shift from spring to summer in the northern hemisphere and from fall to winter in the southern hemisphere. After the stability of Taurus season, it’s time to break free, explore, and play.
Curiosity defines Gemini. This New Moon invites us to question what we know and embrace new perspectives. Gemini, an air sign, thrives on mental energy and flexibility, allowing us to explore different ideas without becoming too attached. This is a time for gathering new information and experiences that can enrich our lives, whether through AI technology, new trends, or social interactions. The moment to network and explore is now!
However, Saturn in Pisces squares this New Moon, grounding our curiosity with a sense of purpose. While Gemini encourages exploration, Saturn reminds us to focus on meaningful pursuits rather than chasing every shiny object. It’s about collecting pieces of the puzzle that help us understand our spiritual path.
Although the excitement of this New Moon might not be immediately felt, once the Moon starts to wax, you’ll be ready to jump into action. Until then, sit with your ideas and prepare for the buzz that’s coming.
Gemini is all about thinking, writing, texting, talking, and connecting. If you’ve lost touch with people, now is the perfect time to reach out and rekindle those connections. Engaging socially can lead to unexpected insights and the next big step in your journey. Be curious, be adaptable, and most importantly, have fun. Embrace the diversity of life in all its splendor.
Happy New Moon!
